I recently found out that one of my major guitar influences passed away. Nokie Edwards, long time lead guitarist of The Ventures died from an infection. He was 82. Hearing the guitar tone in this song on my dad’s turntable as a kid is among my first memories of ever wishing I could play the electric guitar, and to this day it still moves me to the core.
